We've spent January building something big: a completely redesigned smart account that makes operating on blockchains cheaper, dramatically simpler, and ready for serious business use.

Redesigned Smart Account Infrastructure

We launched a completely redesigned smart account system that dramatically improves how businesses manage their on-chain operations:

• Unified permission management across all networks
• Simplified multi-chain operations
• Gas fees covered for all users, even on mainnet
• Completely non-custodial

‍The technical details: We initially launched with modular smart contracts for enforcing permissions. This arrangement allowed us to enforce all account permissions onchain, but came at high complexity and cost. Our new system strips away layers of complexity while keeping what matters most: cryptographic guarantees that your funds can only be accessed according to your rules.

‍We've rolled out several powerful improvements to make blockchain operations more seamless:

• In-app token swaps
• Self-serve platform access
• Hardware wallet support (coming soon)
